For those not venturing to the Cornwall Weekend, 1-3 May, Mike Smith, who has retained his Taffmog affiliation, has informed us that Taffmog is visiting the New Forest 1-3 May and Logmoggers are invited to join them. RE-SCHEDULED - The UKs longest running classic car show, the Footman James 30th Bristol Classic Car Show at the Royal Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, was postponed due to the bad weather. It has been rearranged for Sat 2 May - Monday 4 May 2009. It is anticipated to be even more popular with this May Bank Holiday date. It is with sadness that the Centre reports the death of Patience Healey last month. Roger and Patience Healey have been members of our area for many years. Sincere condolences to Roger and family.

Annual Lunch - There are just threee more weeks until this year’s Annual Lunch at Sway Manor. Are you joining us? This year there will be a Centenary Theme and lots of surprises and yes, puddings to die for.
If you are on the list and haven’t paid yet, please will you send your cheque to treasurer Andy Joseph at Ravenscroft, Ravens Way, Milford on Sea, SO41 0PX. Sunday 10th May - Annual Lunch at Sway Manor Hotel, Sway, New Forest SO41 6BA celebrating 100 years of Morgan sports cars.

Sunday 17th May - SpotMog invite Members to celebrate 100 years of the Morgan Sports Car at the National Trust venue Waddesdon Manor near Aylesbury, Buckinhamshire HP18 0JH. (See advert in February issue of Miscellany or contact Lynne Harris Tel: 01451 850 778 for details). National Trust members are free to both Manor and Grounds.

Friday 22nd May – Evening noggin and natter at Empress of Blandings, Copythorne, Cadnam SO40 2PE on the A31, reached from the Cadnam roundabout at the end of the M27 or from Exit 2 on the M27. Contact Christopher & Helene Halliwell Tel: 01252 852 308 for any queries.

Sunday 14th June – Bulbarrow & Piddle Valley Scenic Run, followed by cream tea. Meet at the Blandford Tesco car park, DT11 9PU, just off the roundabout junction of the A350 and A354 towards Blandford at 11.00. Contact Peter Camm Tel: 01305 250 250 for any queries.

Sunday 21st June – MSCC Speed Championship at Gurston Down. Gurston Farm, Broad Chalke, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP5 5HR run by the southwest region of the BARC, see http://www.gurstondown.org/. Access is best made by turning off the A354 at Coombe Bissett, some three miles southwest of Salisbury, and following the unclassified road through the villages of Stratford Tony and Bishopstone to Broad Chalke. Dick Riddle has kindly offered members attending the event for tea after the event at his home.

Thursday 25th June – evening noggin and natter at Drusilla’s Inn, Wigbeth, Horton, Dorset BH21 7JH, tel: 01258 840 297, http://www.drusillasinn.co.uk. Situated just east of the village of Horton, on the road from the Ashley Heath roundabout at Ringwood through Three Legged Cross, or by turning off on the B3078 at the junction by the Horton Inn towards Horton.
